An Italian Easter in Somerset

Join us at Durslade Farm, Bruton to celebrate Easter with inspiration from Italian traditions. Enjoy fish specials on Good Friday, children’s activities, and a Sunday lamb feast.

We also have children’s crafts and a scavenger hunt across the weekend. And on Bank Holiday Monday, La Pasquetta, a long, relaxed Italian lunch to close out the holiday.

We are open throughout the Easter weekend, 3rd–6th April 2026.

Good Friday

In Italy, meat is replaced by fish on Good Friday. To honour this tradition, we’re offering fish specials for both lunch and dinner on Friday, 3rd April.

Children's Easter Activities

Join us for a fun-filled weekend of children’s activities across the Easter weekend.

Saturday 4th April, 10–11.30am
Location: The Book Shop

Drop in for children’s Easter crafts with Willow from Sing-a-Ling, perfect for young artists. Children can enjoy two Easter-themed activities: creating a bunny portrait to take home and painting natural stones with colourful acrylic designs.

Monday 6th April, 10am–5pm
Location: Farm Shop & Gardens

Stop by Farm Shop to take part in our Scavenger Hunt. Pick up your clue sheet to get started, explore the gardens and follow the clues to unscramble the secret word. Once you’ve solved the puzzle, return to Farm Shop to collect your treat!

All Easter activities are free and open to all ages. Stay for lunch, our children’s menu and highchairs are always available.

Easter Sunday Lunch

A classic Easter Sunday dish in the Veneto region, roasted lamb will be featured on our menu this Easter Sunday. Enjoy it alongside our full à la carte selection, with antipasti, dolce and drinks to complete a memorable meal with family and friends.

La Pasquetta

Bank Holiday Monday is known as La Pasquetta (Little Easter) in Italy—a time to gather with friends and loved ones for a joyful day. Just like in England, people spend time outdoors, enjoying nature and delicious food. Our doors will be open, so you can meet up with loved ones and enjoy an Italian meal made with incredible local ingredients.

A Day Out at Durslade Farm

Make the most of the Easter weekend at Durslade Farm. Alongside lunch or dinner at Da Costa, explore the gallery’s current exhibition, ‘Don McCullin – 90‘, which is on view until 12th April. 

Wander through Oudolf Field, our perennial meadow garden, and stop by Farm Shop for local produce to take home.

The gallery and garden are open daily across the Easter weekend. Entry is always free.

Nearby, Stourhead’s Easter trail runs throughout the weekend. A nice morning walk before lunch at Da Costa.
